Description |
 |
Old and rare iron currency, reminiscent of a "throwing knife".
It is very thin, approx. 2 mm and corroded.
It comes from a group of people that can be found between Lake Chad and Lake Tianga.
It played an important role in wedding compensations. It was also used fro the redemption of criminals, in the organisation of ceremonies and as payment for medicines. (Rivallain 1981, p. 38) |
