Asen are made to pay tribute to the ancestors. compliment to the ancestors. Metal hopper with a cap embedded in different metal tools as grater, hook, putty knife, etc. The hopper is installed on a metal thorn which can be sticked into the ground directly.

Asen are created for honouring late ancestors.
They are put up around the family' s altar and can have different sizes, depending on the wealth of the ancestor. Sometimes they are even decorated with personal things of the deceased person. |
