Description
Light wood, matt patina, polychrome paint, strong thighs, short, arms, cap like head-gear. Slight traces of use.
Mounted on a wooden base.

The doll represents the female ideal and it is hoped the beauty that the first child will have. Before initiation, the young girls are set apart and are encouraged to gain weight to make them more attractive. As with Fang masks they have an almost Asiatic appearance.
