Description
A female venavi twin figure from Togo, made of light coloured wood. Shoes and hair are painted black. The left arm is missing. Clear signs of use.

Such figures are seen as receptacles for the souls of dead twins. Venavi's are comparable with the Yoruba "ibeji" twin cult.
