A female venavi twin figure from Togo, made of light coloured wood. The figure is wearing, red, green and yellow glass-beads around the neck and waist. Clear signs of use.

Such figures are seen as receptacles for the souls of dead twins. Venavi's are comparable with the Yoruba "ibeji" twin cult.
