Heinz Jockers conducted his field-work amongst the Tiv in Nigeria and was the former assistant curator of the Africa Department Ethnological Museum in Hamburg. He is also an ethnologist, Ph.D. (African Studies), and worked as a political consultant on African affairs for the EU, different government bodies and NGOs.
In addition, he is also the owner of the world's largest private collection of books about Nigeria and its many-faceted cultures. |
