Tibetan silver mounted skull bowl or Kapala. The skull is lined with silver on the interior and trimmed with a band of silver skull faces applied just under the top rim.
Such skulls were used in both Hindu Tantra and Buddhist Tantra (Vajrayana) rituals to hold ceremonial liquids.
