Description
Abampourouna containers represent a more modest version designed for holding gold dust powder. Gold had already become the established currency in the Gold Coast empire as early as the 15th century. Various tools, including gold weights, scales, spoons, and more, were employed to measure both gold powder and nuggets.

*Johannes Kaddatz was, among others, a close friend of Werner Fischer, Hans Himmelheber, Boris Kegel-Konietzko, Bernd Muhlack and von der Heide and spent many years in East and West Africa.
