| Old praying tablet. Light brown wood, Black paint, both sides lettered with surae.
Minimal damaged, signs of abrasion and usage.
In the Koran schools the older children learn to write the verses of the Koran with black ink and wooden writing utensils.
The younger ones then learn to read and memorize with it. When a blackboard has had its day, the Iman erases the ink with water and has to drink this ink so that the holy suras do not simply seep away in the sand.
